It is with great joy that pianist and composer Marianne Trudel revisits the exceptionnal repertoire of Antonio Carlos Jobim, cofounder of the bossa-nova which revolutionized the the music in Brazil. A rereading of great beauty, all in finesse and sensuality, of these musical pearls in Brazilian music. A passionate and captivating trio, expressive and warm. With two fabulous musicians, Etienne Lafrance (double bass) and Sacha Daoud (drums and percussion), Marianne Trudel moves and transports us. Brazil in the spotlight!

The program includes a few great successes of the bossa nova (One note samba, Agua de beber), some less known musical beads (Canta Canta, Falandor de amor) and original compositions from Marianne Trudel, inspired by Brazilian music.
